Opening on May 21st, 2019, Joël Robuchon’s protégé Alain Verzeroli launched Le Jardinier at 610 Lexington Avenue (53rd Street) with a light, seasonal tasting menu that’s less about French fuss and more about simple, good clean food. Adding to the complexity of the ceiling were lights placed on the intersection of the panel joints - masterfully executed by Sky Acoustics.
Ted Moudis Associates designed the offices for financial research and data company Euromoney Institutional Investor, located in New York City, New York. Design Strategies provided all of the non-gypsum ceilings on the project, from custom gray AURA panels in the corridors to white ACT in the offices and stretched Newmat in the conference rooms.
The city that never sleeps is a fitting location for the headquarters of IPsoft, a developer of automated network services and intelligence systems that operates on a 24/7 business model. Throughout the Lower Manhattan office, cutting edge A/V technologies and multimedia reflect the idea of innovation through design.
Sky Acoustics provided a custom radius acoustical ceiling panel system, with 1/8” reveals, concealed torsion-spring suspension and NRC of 0.90. The degree of complexity led to all other ceiling manufacturers drop out of the running, while Sky Acoustics was able to execute on time and within budget.
In Continental Grains’ new New York City headquarters the company focused on developing a more open and modern style. With open plan workspaces, collaborative zones, and glass fronted private offices, which provide flexibility as needs change, Ted Moudis Associates created a design aesthetic that took visual cues from classic modern design. The addition of Sky Acoustics acoustical tiles help to keep the noise of the hustle and bustle of their office from disturbing the buzzing work environment.
The simple but novel articulations of the building volume will transform this office tower into a memorably engaging presence that enriches the public realm while offering the building’s occupants an unexpectedly privileged relationship to Bryant Park.
The interior is proving to be just as stunning as the landmark exterior. A museum was even included inside. Sky Acoustics was able to work with the acoustical consultants and architect to design a stunning piece for the center of the room that is not only reflective of China’s connection with the United States but the exciting curvaceous architecture of the exterior of the building.
Biotronik, a global leader in cardio and endovascular medical technology, last year opened a state-of-the-art training facility and innovation center in New York City.
Sleek glass office fronts and polished concrete made the acoustical performance of the Sky Acoustic ceiling system critical to this office and training space. Luminous ceilings, saw-tooth acoustical elements, and smooth custom-colored acoustical ceilings complimented this high-tech space.
